19.08.2010 Lundgren suggests Van
Damme for the next Expendables film....
as his victim.
Where does "Expendables" star Sylvester
Stallone turn now, after his cinematic
smorgasbord of '80s action giants
fire-bombed the competition and won the
weekend box-office title? Can you hear
the collective cry of $35 million worth
of ticket-buyers? They're calling for a
sequel!
Sly has plans to give the people what
they want — he already has a second
flick plotted out in his head — but for
now, he's waiting on even greater
box-office bucks and the chance to see
which co-stars will return and which
fresh faces he can entice to join the
crew of gun-totting mercenaries.
Stallone's fellow Expendables have some
strong ideas about who they want to see
in a sequel.
Lundgren, meanwhile, has his eye on a
different guy to join the second
installment — one who actually turned
down a part in the first flick.
"I'd like to kill Jean-Claude Van Damme,
please!" Lundgren said. "He's
hunting Van Damme down!" Stallone
laughed. Added Jason Statham: "I'll
be the cut man for that!"
Two guys Stallone wants to reprise their
roles are Arnold Schwarzenegger and
Bruce Willis. In fact, Sly revealed he's
already been in contact with them about
returning for a sequel. "The main thing
is to find out who's available, who
wants to be in it," he said. "I'm
talking to Arnold and Bruce [about]
different schedules and other actors.
Then you have to bring in some new guys,
some young blood.
"I haven't had an opening like this,"
Stallone added. "To me, it's miraculous.
And what sunk in finally is, in this day
and age, it's all about concept, it's
not about the actor. No one actor can
open a movie anymore, so you need the
help of your friends. This was a group
effort. I had the biggest opening
because they helped. That's the name of
the game."
31.07.2010 50 Years Van Damme: All Van Damme's
Knife Scene's
Later this year Jean-Claude van Damme
will become 50 years old. In a serie of

highlights. Here's the new video with
all
JCVD Knife Scene's
Today we did add three new votepolls on
this site. Two years ago we asked you to
rate Jean-Claude van Damme. Now we ask
you again. Did he become more popular?
Also you can rate the movies "JCVD" and
"Universal Soldier Regeneration".
Jean-Claude Van Damme has had a good
couple of years. The king of
martial-arts cinema recently made one
helluva comeback with the critically
acclaimed "J.C.V.D" and followed
it up with the surprisingly decent,
"Universal Soldier : Regeneration". Now
Van Damme might be considering returning
to another of his earlier roles
(plural).
The actor is keen to sequelize his 1991
hit, "Double Impact". Sheldon Lettich,
the film's writer/director , tells fans
on the Van Damme Fan website that ''It's
not a done deal yet, but we've got a
great notion for a story, and we both
think we can pull it off as a movie.''
Lettich said in an earlier post that the
"story that JC and I always talked about
would begin with Chad getting in trouble
with a Chinese Triad gang in Los Angeles
(which has a huge Chinese population),
and Alex having to come from Hong Kong
to help him out. Alex, of course, would
be a fish-out-of-water,
bull-in-a-china-shop in L.A., kind of
like Crocodile Dundee or like Jackie
Chan in RH2."
Lettich says that because "the rights
are all over the place" the project has
been a little hard to get off the ground.
Hopefully this one happens. The first
one was a lot of fun.
Would be cool to see Alex back after all
those years...

10.06.2010 Jean-Claude Van Damme
joins Kung Fu Panda: The Kaboom of Doom
The
sequel to 'Kung Fu Panda' has just
landed "The Muscles from Brussels"
himself; Jean-Claude Van Damme, joining
him is Michelle Yeoh and Victor Garber.
Yeoh will play The Soothsayer, who also
happens to be a goat, while Van Damme
and Garber are two new Masters – Croc
and Thundering Rhino, respectively.
The latest press release also confirms
Gary Oldman’s involvement and clarifies
his character – while he’s definitely a
peacock and the movie’s villain, his
name is Lord Shen. He commands a group
of bandits that Po (Jack Black) must
fight against.
Angelina Jolie, Dustin Hoffman, Jackie
Chan, Seth Rogen, David Cross and James
Hong are all returning from the first
film.
The storyline for the film hasn't been
specifically detailed, what we know so
far is Po is on the search for other
pandas in the midst of his run-in with a
group of bandits led by Lord Shen (Oldman)
who posesses a mysterious weapon so
powerful it threatens the very existence
of kung fu. It is up to Po and the
Furious Five to protect all that they
know.
The film is set for release in 2011,
from DreamWorks.

08.05.2010 50 Years Van Damme:
Fans' most favorite JCVD Movie Character
Later this year Jean-Claude van Damme
will become 50 years old. A great moment
to have an overview on JCVD's movie
highlights. Today we present you a video
of the most favorite JCVD-character of his fans.
According to The Sun, Jean-Claude van
Damme will begin filming a reality show
to air on British TV.
The 49-year old Belgian, was a karate
champion/kickboxer in his young days and
it's his quest for a comeback title that
will be at the heart of the series.
"The plan is for cameras to follow him
at home and in the run-up to his
comeback fight," a source close to the
untitled show tells the Sun. "So as well
as his home life we'll get to see his
gruelling training regime, which with
him being nearly 50 should be
interesting."
Interesting, too, will be the familial
situations. Although a decision about
just who will appear on the show has yet
to be made, the drama seems ripe for the
picking; JC's been married a whopping
five times -- to wives running the gamut
from bodybuilder to Hawaiian Tropic
model -- and has three kids, ages 15-23.
"He's had quite a life and he's become a
real character," the source says, "You
never quite know what he's going to do
or say next."
Van Damme's big fight against former
boxing Olympic gold-medalist, Somluck
Kamsing, is scheduled to take place in
Las Vegas in October.

Publicly Confirms Kickboxing Fight in
2010
For the past few months there's been
rumored the 2010 kickboxing fight
between Jean-Claude Van Damme and Thai
Olympic boxer Somluck Kamsing, but have
not heard anything official from Van
Damme's side. Now, for the first time,
Van Damme himself has spoken publicly
and confirmed it - Jean-Claude Van Damme
will face Somluck Kamsing in a
legitimate kickboxing fight in 2010!
Van Damme spoke to the press about his
plans for the year, indicating that he
will have three reality shows this year
- one related to casting, one behind the
scenes on a Van Damme film project
called The Tower, and one that follows
Van Damme as he trains for his fight
with Somluck.
The third show will follow both Van
Damme in his training and Somluck as he
trains in Thailand, culminating in the
actual fight between the two men, to
take place in either September or
October in Macau, China (a change from
the original plan to hold the fight in
Las Vegas). Ever the self-promoter, Van
Damme's The Tower will also be released
at that time, so that in a one month
span, Van Damme's different shows will
wrap up, his new film will be released,
and the Somluck fight will air.
Van Damme's comments on the fight:
[Fighting Kamsing] is kind of dangerous,
but life is short and I want to do this
fight... to prove to young people, and
even to mature people, that a man can go
into some very strong physical effort,
training, and everything and also be a
movie star.

Planning a Real Kickboxing Match
It
is being reported that Jean-Claude Van
Damme is working on a new project, a
documentary about his training for a K-1
kickboxing match in Last Vegas. This new
movie will lead up to Van Damme actually
getting into the ring for a real fight.
He will face off against Somluck Kamsing,
a 35 year-old Thai fighter, who was the
1996 Olympic Gold medalist in boxing at
126 pounds and also fought in both the
2000 and 2004 Olympics. Kamsing even
appeared in the Asian version of the "Fearless"
film, in which he has a fight scene with
Jet Li.
Van Damme is currently trying to
organize the fight for next Summer, but
some are worried that the Nevada State
Athletic Commission will never allow for
the 48 year-old actor to face-off
against a former Olympian. Stay tuned.
